Popular Gambian DJ and radio presenter Gfaal has been appointed as ambassador of an international festival in Russia that happens annually. The Festival Kardo 8 National Stage Competition is a platform to harness and light talents, enabling artists and athletes to share the richness of culture internationally.
Gfaal expressed the importance of Gambia’s participation and the momentous initiatives it will offer the nation at the global stage of Street Art Culture and Sports, in which season 8 opens in February 2025.
He urged creative Gambians to take part in the online and offline selection in the areas of graffiti, Deejaying, dance, rap, BMX, skateboarding, workout, etc. Winners of each stage direction will represent the Gambia in the Finals in Stavropol Russia in August 21-24 2025.
